Cooking Made Easy

Since i start diet ni, memang every morning i akan buat sarapan pagi sendiri. Kalau dulu, boleh ja singgah mana2 beli. La ni, kalo buat camtu, abih la kiraan calories i...

Being in low carb diet, kalo x pelbagaikan menu, memang akan cepat boring. Mau tak boring...x kan la hari2 scramble egg or telur rebus kan... so kepelbagaian tu penting supaya kita x boring nak makan, dan tak mudah terkandas sebab boring dgn foof kita.

So far, basis for my breakfast (and lunch... i buat skali...kadang sama lauk, kadang lain) mostly telur, tauhu, ayam and kadang2 daging. For dinner plak slalu ikan, ayam and daging.

Macam semalam, pagi, i masak  telur goreng on top of tauhu grill (on magic pan), with slice of cheese and sesudu sambal bbq. Total calories less 250kcal. Tambah salad secawan. For lunch, i masak segenggam kacang panjang potong kecik2 ditumis ngan bawang n telur hancur. Serius, i kenyang....may be sbb skang dah amik portion kecil, so i cepat rasa kenyang... Malam, again i guna smbal bbq buat ikan percik...

I memang suka guna sambal bbq ni. Sgt mudah nak masak... sebab rasa sambal ni dah lengkap. Selalunya i guna untuk bakar ikan/ayam/daging. Tapi sambal pes ni boleh digunakan nak buat masakan lain like percik di atas (i tambah santan ja...), buat sambal2 biasa like sambal sotong, rendang and even bleh tambah kat maggi kari. Sambal ni x pedas, budak2 pun boleh makan... tapi bagi i, yang penting, senang dan it made my cooking easy... tak banyak masa i abiskn kat dapur.

Sambal ni nama dia Pes BBQ RIA. Actually kawan i yang buat. I memang selalu repeat order ngan dia. Kalau u all nak try, boleh wassap my fren Izah at 0193093879. Pes sambal ni boleh dipos... so kalo u outside selangor/KL pun no problem.

Other than that, utk mengurangkan waktu di dapur, bawang2 semua i mmg dah siap blend. So x la membuang masa nk potong2 bawang... And sometimes, i masak 2 in one. Contoh, kalau malam tu i masak sup ayam, i akan lebihkan portion ayam and simpan 1 bahagian for my breakfast esoknya. For breakfast, i carikkan ayam tu, campur mayo, air lemon (bg asam2 sket), garam and lada hitam. Boleh makan ngan wrap lettuce or gaul sekali ngan salad. siap dah healthy breakfast :-)

 InshaAllah, tak susah sebenarnya... and bila buat breakfast/lunch sendiri ni, selain jimat duit x yah makan kedai, i dapat jaga my portion. Tu yang penting kan supaya x terbabas diet ni... heheheh...

Gula dalam Darah

This week, minggu ke empat on diet. Cemana so far? Ada la jugak sangkut2 nya... last week, I pose, so masa berbuka tu teringin sgt nasi, i mkn la dlm dua sudu. hehehhe... And then my BIL balik dr labuan, bawak coklat marshamellow sumer... huhuu... banyak gak la i telan...

Tak pe... minggu ni kita cuba semula. Smalam coti, so dan la buat yoga waktu pagi. Hari ni, kita plan nk exercise gak... jaga makan sume...inshaAllah...

But nak share perkembangan positive this week, gula dalam darah dah turun to 5.1 dari 6.3. Yeay! Suka sgt... dah tak borderline dah... so kena kipidap ni ;-)

Yummly!

I ni jenis yg suka variety in my food. I cepat bosan kalo masak n makan benda yg sama... So i rajin la menggoogle resepi, but often i found out leceh nak browse internet... And leceh nk go through the resepi n get frustrated bila ada bahan yg i x mo ada dlm resepi tu.

Last month, i stumble across this application called 'yummly'. And i love it so much! Guna app ni, memang mudah sangat nak cari resepi. I just taip apa yg i nak cari, and walla... Keluar semua resepi.

Yang paling i suka this app can be customised to your preference. Contoh, macam i x makan pork, alcohol, prefer western, italian, asian food, healthy food... Semua ni i masukkn dalam setting. So bila i search for any resepi, x dak la bahan2 terlarang dlm resepi tu and result yg keluar akan ikut my preference. Sapa2 ada allergic to food, memang senang la nak cari resepi...

I also love its look n feel masa pakai app ni. Senang! Siap bgtau estimated time nk siapkan dish tu...and the calories it has. Yummly ni access resepi yg ada kat internet (from blog n other website). So u get banyak option jenis resepi mana u nak pilih.

On Diet!

Salah satu new year resolution ri tu ye lah nak turunkan berat badan. Heheheh...ni la azam tetiap tahun. in 2014 dulu, dah turun 6 kilos, tapi in 2015, i gained it back :-P Jadinya, tahun ni 2016, moh ler kita turunkan semula berat tu ya...

I choose low carb diet, sbb nak kata i buat atkins, i bukan ikut sgt pantang larang atkins ni... i still makan buah (admittedly x banyak) and my cooking still ada bawang. So, yeah... i'm on low carb diet.

Pantang i tiga ja... nasi, mee/meehoon and anything yg basednya tepung. For the past 2 weeks, i melopong ja la tgk org makan kueh2 masa meeting kat opis.... and i was drooling bila tgk org makan nasik ayam la, nasik arab la... huhuhu...

gigih i masak pagi2. Amazingly, sekejap ja masak pagi2 ni, around setengah jam... mana yg i boleh prep sebelah malam, i buat sebelah malam. I drank at least 2.5 ml of water sehari, i senam at least 30 mins 3 times per week (tapi last week dapat sekali ja... kena improve ni...) and consume a lot of sayur/salad.

Since on tis diet, i dah experience sakit kepala in the first week, and mulut/tekak rasa manis in the second week. minum air kosong pun rasa mcm minum air yg ada gula. And constipation (hence the sayur/salad). Bila google, rupa2nya ni tanda ketosis, where fat is burned.

So far, in two weeks i have lost....

I still have a long way to go... so doakan i istiqamah ya...

Let it go.

Easier to say than done kan?

I think, ramai antara kita yang ada masalah ni. Susah nak 'let it go'.

Susah nak let go someone yang kita sayang tapi dah tak sayang kita lagi.
Susah nak let go kesalahan yang orang lakukan pada kita walaupun orang tu dah minta maaf.
Susah nak let go masalah yang berlaku diluar kawalan kita.
Susah.

We often dwell in our problem and spent our time thinking about it. We live in our past.

Apa salah aku?
Kenapa dia buat aku macam ni?
Kenapa aku yang diuji?
Pelbagai lagi persoalan menerjah pemikiran dan mengganggu emosi kita.

When we have done everything, but it still doesn't go the way we want it , just let it go and move on.

Life is full of choices. You can choose to be happy, you can choose to be miserable. If you have done all you can, but the result is not what you expected, may be it is not meant to be. So, let it go and move on. There must be 'hikmah' behind it.

Game kat Handphone

Kat HP i, memang ada a few games yg i main. Kekadang time boring2 tunggu giliran macam kat spital ari tu, game ni la pengisi masa i. Tapi yg tetiap hari main, ada dua... Candy Crush & Soda Crush.

Letak kat main page tu game ni...senang nak main.

Hehehhe... yeah... I know... game ni dah lama dah... masa my frens dok main game ni, i x join pun. I start main, bila tengok mu husband main. Eh...macam best la pulak... bila i dah start main, huhuhuh...memang addicted! tapi ye la... life ada 5 ja... nak tunggu satu life pun dah setengah jam...

Then adik i cadangkan main soda crush pulop, sementara nk tunggu life candy crush kan.... hahahaha.... pon addicted... lepas abis candy crush, sambung soda plak...

Tetiba tenghari tadi dapat email dari game developer ni kata ada game baru...

Best gak... lebih kurang ja la ngan soda n candy crush. Ada harapan nk addicted ni. hahahah...

Si Bongsu yang perlukan perhatian

Orang kata kalau yang bongsu, manja sikit kan... Suka nak dapat perhatian... Betul ka?

Mungkin bukan semua kot... sesetengah ja...

But my 'Bongsus' (notice the s - there are of 4 of them) tergolong dalam golongan yang sesetengah tu. Dah start buat perangai after 3 years of silence. Ingatkan x dak apa2...and i thought may be finally they have grown up. But no... I was totally wrong...

I sakit gigi semula since last 2 weeks of Dec 2015 (last sakit Dec 2012). Pi klinik gigi gomen yang dekat umah ni, x dop pulak x ray machine. So i end up buat scaling ja. Pi klinik swasta, x ray the same gigi yang x ray dulu. Makin besar gigi tu, dekat dgn saraf dan deep in my jawbone. Since this would be quite a complicated minor operation, the doctor referred me to hospital.


Lepas riki2 blog orang (dan berjaya menakutkan diri sendiri!) pasal cabut gigi bonsu ni, i choose hospital putrajaya. X la dekat ngan umah i, but OK la kot...hospital quite baru n review on the doctors pun OK. 30 Dec ri tu, pi la first appointment.

i have to wait for 110 people before i can register myself....
Punya ramai orang... parking x dak, walau dah dua kali tawaf hospital. I end up parking tepi jalan utama sebelum masuk spital tu. X pa la... bleh exercise kan... Amik nombor giliran untuk register, tu dia.... almost 2 hours nak register ja. Then, tunggu plak kat klinik pakar bedah mulut untuk jumpa doctor. But i understand. Hospital ni treat ramai patient. Jadi kita sabarlah menunggu sambil2 main game n chit chat kat wassap :-)

When it was my turn to see the doctor, alhamdulillah...baik sangat doctor tu. Indian lady, serius nama x ingat :-P masuk2, dia tanya apa problem... so i said la yg my wisdom tooth ni x kluar2 lagi and i have toothache sampai kadang tu sakit kepala dibuatnya. Then, i pi x-ray (x-ray semua gigi mulut, kat swasta tu dia x ray 1 gigi ja). Yup, memang my wisdom tooth bahagian bawah ni impacted. Yang kanan, deep in the bone and complicate sikit nak buang sebab banyak tulang nak kena potong (OMG!) nak sampai ke gigi tu. Yang belah kiri bawah pun dalam tulang. In fact yg atas dedua belah pon x kluar lagi. So doc kata, the best option is remove it under GA (pengsan terus), buang empat2 geraham bongsu sekali jalan.

I kind of expected that. But saje tanya risiko and what if i x proceed for the surgery. Would the tooth stop growing eventually? Doc cakap, tak... nature gigi ni dia nak keluar juga. so dia akan keep tolak gigi2 i sampai la dia bleh kluar. And before matters took worst turn, baiklah i buang semua sekarang so that in future dah tak yah pikir2 lagi. About risiko operation ni, since dekat ngan saraf, mungkin i akan rasa kebas di bahagian rahang. A few days after operation, or weeks. But ada juga possibility kebas forever kalau terpotong that nerve. tapi jarang sangat la berlaku.

After a few second contemplating, OK... let's do it! Hahahaha... buang je la kan... bukan x biasa pon org buang geraham bongsu empat2 under GA ni. And it's only daycare ja. x yah tido wad pun. Lebih kurang sama mcm nak OPU masa IVF ;-). Cari2 tarikh, the next availale date is on 1st March 2016. Hahahah...amik kau... 3 bulan lagik..

Lepas jumpa doc tu, pi lak ke daycare ward. Submit form for daycare and the nurses explained on daycare punya do and don't masa hari surgery nanti. But the nurses said, nanti dah dekat2 operation date, dorang akan call to confirm and remind i semula. Ye la kan... 3 bulan lagik tuh...

By noon, everything settle. Skang nih, i still on and off rasa denyut2 sakit gigi ni. Kadang denyut ja rasa...kadang sampai sakit kepala. Ni pun dok rasa2 mulut ni macam 'ketat'. Bersabar je la kan... sakit tu penghapus dosa.... hehehhe...

Welkam 2016

2015 dah berlalu... sekejap betul kan dah masuk tahun baru...

Tahun 2015, lebih tertumpu pada kerjaya. Tak serius on TTC. Nak sambung amik exam pon x berjaya lagi. And masih berusaha nak turunkan berat badan.

2016, hopefully this year akan membawa seribu satu Rahmat dan kebaikan dari Nya. Dan kita sambung lah usaha untuk semua cita2 yg x tercapai di tahun 2015 :-) (hehehehe...berapa tahun dah dok carry forward ja azam ni...:-P)

Happy new Year all... May 2016 bring the best for u all...
