Just an ordinary update...

It was my birthday yesterday :-)

Alhamdulillah.... a year older, a year wiser (hopefully). And also a reminder that semakin meningkat usia, semakin dekat kita dengan kematian.

Thanks to my hubby for the simple yet meaningful celebration. X buat majlis apa pun...beli kek and makan dengan family members. Tu pun rasa kenyang gila makan coz tengahari tu dah belasah makan nasik (i masak kerang bakar cicah sambal kicap and ikan siakap tiga rasa).
Sambut 5 bday sekaligus...

This week, a bit busy. Schedule penuh dgn meeting & outstation. And a lot of works to do. I was assigned to design team building module for 2 Away Day...my Section's Away Day and my Department's Away Day. Adeh....the last time i designed a module was during my university days... lamo dah tu... 13 years ago. In addition tu that, this is for corporate team building...tak sama dgn team building utk bebudak skolah.... Masa zaman uni dulu i memang active dgn aktiviti persatuan... and banyak involved in facilitating motivational and team building camp for bebudak skolah... Well... I guess more or less isinya sama... but pendekatan may be berbeza... anyway, doakan i dapat siapkn module yg baik for both team building ni ya :-)

On another note, i received feedback on my performance last week from my boss. Well...even though it wasn't as per my expectation, I akur dgn rezeki n ketentuan Allah... bukan rezeki i kali ni. Even though i feel frustrated with the result, but I guess, Allah Knows better kan.... InshaAllah, He wants to give me rezeki kat tempat lain (anak perhaps? ;-) hehehehh ). I belajar utk redha, take the feedback on positive note and try to improve myself further.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my stay kat hotel ni.... too bad my dear hubby couldn't join me. Kena dia shift malam pulop... x pe, nxt time ada rezeki, kita dtg sini rehat2 ye abg :-)

My Personality

sapa suka buat personality test????


hahahaha.... i la tu. I don't know why...but i suka menjawab soklan2 personality test ni. Saja nak tau yg diri sendiri ni perangai camana...sometimes, org kata kita cenggini... sometimes org kata kita cam lain... tapi kita plak rasa eh, aku tak cenggitu.

One of personality test yg i dah pernah buat was MBTI atau nama penuhnya Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Mostly, the trait that it describe myself nampak mcm ada kebenarannya. I'm an ISTJ type of person (Nak tau about MBTI and the personality type, and nak try free online test u all bleh google jek... ) And bila i google lagi pasal ni, terjumpa satu gambar....

My weekend Project and my cheating days (notice the s in day?? hehehhe...)

Amenda la yang i busy sangat lately ni eh? Actuallly, apart from busy dengan keje keje opis, masa terluang kat umah dok sibuk buat hantaran bertunang. Of course la not me yang bertunang kan... heheheh... This time around, i buat for my lil brother. I buat simple2 jek... X reti sangat nak buat extravaganza.... heheheheh.... These were the hantaran from our side;

Actually nak bagik home made coklat and pastri bakul buah yang kami tempah, tapi coklat tu tak sempat dibuat while pastri bakul tu pulak, bakulnya x sempat buat. Dia dah poskan kat kami the buah2 pastri instead. Tapi sampai ke Saturday, barang tu tak kluar dari Pejabat Pos (based on tracking number). So sepantas kilat pada hari Sabtu, carik cookies and coklat untuk ganti dua2 barang yg x jadik bagi tu... heheheh....

Majlis pertunangannya was done yesterday... Alhamdulillah, semua berjalan lancar... Majlis bertunang dan berbincang nya, kejap je... 20 minit kot? Sarung cincin semua siap segala.... amik gambor semua, then.... makan time...

Cakap pasal makan ni, memang hari Sabtu and Ahad tu, makan macam sebulan tak makan. Cheating day la konon....tapi org lain cheating day without s kat belakang day... I ceating day 2 hari hokeh... Aiyyooo.... abis diet den... Balik umah mak ari Sabtu, ada Rojak Klang yg sgt kami sukai dari dulu, kini dan selamanya... Tambah lagi ngan Mee Jawa... memang tak cukop la sepinggan... Dinner plak mak masak gulai daging, mesti lah dijamah sesuap, lapan. Hehehehe...

Hari Ahad, sarapan pagi dengan Nasi Lemak, homemade hasil air tangan mak cik i yang memang terer buat nasi lemak. Sodapnyo...sampai 2 pinggan i makan. Tengahari, kami makan di rumah belah pompuan, lauk ikan bakar... so nasik i memang lebih dari portion yg sepatutnya. Air plak, air sirap soda... hambik...x tau la berapa kalori i dah belasah tu... Balik majlis pertunangan, bantai cendol bakar yg pemes kat kuala selangor tu... pastu ditambah dgn hasil hantaran balasan dari pihak perempuan.... puding, mashed pumpkin yg sgt manis and tentunya kek coklat moist secret resepi... Malam, since i tapau sambal nasik lemak mak cik i tu, so i belasah lagi nasik (kali ni ikut portion :-) walaupon mcm x puas ati sebab kena ikut portion..... hahahah.

Setelah menderhaka kepada diet i selama dua hari ni, hari ni dah insaf balik dah. Sebab pagi tadi timbang dah naik balik berat almost 1kg, hasil pemakanan tidak sihat dan tak berhenti during the weekend...... T_____T Kejap betoi berat ni nak naik.... nak turun, punya la siksa.... so skang nih time to watch out semula apa yg i makan and resume my diet. Dah tak lama dah until 2013 menutup tirai... kena usaha lebih keras lagi nampak gayanya ni.

My breakfast

For the past week, dok breakfast ngan ni ja...

Amende nih???

Heheheh...Diet sihat la sangat konon... This is a mix of yogurt (plain one ya...), a teaspoon of honey, mix of an apple and blueberry. For texture, i letak segenggam Special K cereal (hancur2 kan). In total, this dish has around 300+ calories. And it is so yummeh! Lengkap sumber protein, fiber/carb and antioksidan :-)

Dan sangat sesuai utk di makan sambil2 mengadap jam on the way pi kerja.... heheheh....

Owh...Sakit Leher!

Huhuhu...Sakit leher since Jumaat hari tu... sebabnya...salah position masa tido atau dikenali sebagai salah bantal (apasal lak bantal yg disalahkan....).

Tapi today its getting better. i dah boleh dongak. Cuma x leh laju2...kalo laju2....rasa sakit dia sentap sampai tulang belakang... huhuhuhu... can u imagine it??? One thing yg tak best...sakit leher ni kadang sampai rasa sakit belakang and sakit kepala... memang x selesa la 3-4 hari ni...

Banyak dengar org dok bagitau petua nk ilangkan sakit... bantai leher ngan bantal yg kita pakai tu. errr... a bit skeptikal, but pernah buat dulu, and amazingly sakit tu berkurangan cepat... i x tau la apa signifikasinya (cewah!) bantai leher kita dengan bantal tu balik and how it is from science perspective. This time around, x buat sebab x de org nk tolong bantaikan... heheheh... (hubby keje malam...)

Ada gak yg bagik petua suh tuam ngan something yg panas, like tuala panas. errr... x buat lagik coz mcm leceh nak panaskan tuala. (padahal hari2 iron baju pi keje, bleh je nak panaskn tuala...cuma waktu pepagi rushing nk pi keje so tak ingat).

Another tips, baru jumpa masa google 'sakit leher, salah tidur, salah bantal' tadi. Dia kata, baca bismillah, selawat 3 x and tepuk2 bantal... pastu baring atas bantal tu. OK, i'll do it tonite. Semoga tips ni menjadi.

p/s: sorry for lacking in updating this blog. A bit busy with 'weekend project' (will blog about it next week, definitely) and a bit busy ngan keje... ingatkan akhir2 tahun ni bleh le relax sket...ropanya banyak btol projek and initiative kena buat...Will try to update this blog when i have spare time yer... and sorry gk kalo x sempat nk berblog walking and tinggaikan jejak :-)

The 300th Post : Life & My 90 days challenge Part 4 update

Yey! My 300th post (eleh...org lain dah beribu riban buat posting x bising pun....huhuhuhuhu)...

Wow... Tak sangka dah buat posting sebanyak 300 kali sepanjang ada blog ni. Anyway, hope u all enjoy reading my blog as much as i enjoy writing it :-)

OK. A bit busy lately. Dengan performance review for FY2013 ni, alhamdulillah.... dah settle yang anak2 buah punya. Tinggal untuk diri sendiri je.... kena siapkan and submit next week. Wish me luck!

Move on to my 90 days challenge (Part 4: Oct Summary)
(Disclaimer: what i did for my weight loss program works for me, but may not work for u. Pls consult the expert for better weight loss chance.)

This month berat dah start moving from range yg i stuck tu. Am so happy with my progress. Walaupun ada sangkut sikit-sikit in terms of pemakanan, but i masih consistent in terms of trying to watch what i eat and exercising.

Actually, x de la drastik my diet tu. I pun x ingat i dah share ke belum kat blog ni. Anyway, I ikut what my fren sarankan (as per Kevin Zahri advice). Amik Carb yang portionnya sebesar penumbuk kita, protein sebesar tapak tangan and vegetable 1 serving (i.e banyak sayur!I budget dalam semangkuk gitu). My fren also advise amik snack. Apple is a good one. Snack amik in between breakfast & lunch and in between lunch and dinner. According to my fren, jgn skip makan, sebab bila skip makan, body kita send signal yang kita dalam starvation mode dan metabolism badan dikurangkan. Sedangkan we need the metabolism untuk bakar kalori. Jgn lupa minum air banyak2... Pemakanan yang baik actually sumbangkan 70% kepada penurunan berat badan. Exercise is 30%. So ensure u eat right, InshaAllah, that is the first step to reduce weight.

Untuk exercise, i suka buat tabata. It just a 4 minute exercise, with interval of 20 second intense activities and 10 second rest. Nampak 4 minit je kan....tapi penatnya memang tak cukup idung nak napas. hehehehehe....kalau i tak buat tabata during cycling, i buat simple tabata macam yg ada kat internet (lari setempat, squat, lompat bintang dan push up). Kadang tu balik keje dah lambat, lps maghrib, masa masak tu, i sempat bertabata sambil2 masak. At least kasik peluh keluar, better than x senam langsung kan.... if u all nak tau tabata tu caner, click link ni or u can google jek...

Selalunya exercise rutin i ye lah 5 minutes cycling (stationary bike) utk panaskan badan, 10 minit cycling for cardio, 4 minutes tabata cycling, 10 minutes cycling for muscle building and 5 minutes cooling down. so, around 30 minutes workout, selalu i buat selang sehari or kalo over rajin, hari2. My mantra sepanjang exercise tu : NO PAIN NO GAIN. hahahahah.....that is enough to keep me going :-) Oh... muscle building/strength is important ya... jangan asik buat cardio je... cardio activity ni memang bagus untuk jantung, cholestrol dan blood pressure, selain dari pembakaran lemak. Tapi muscle/strength building ni kena masukkn juga dalam exercise plan untuk balancekan exercise kita. By having muscle building, badan akan lebih trim dan fit (i.e tak menggeleber sbb lemak2 dah hilang), tingkat kan metabolism badan. Selain dari tu, otot juga membakar lebih banyak lemak, even after kita habis exercise. Tapi x perlu la sampai jadik body builder kan... heheheh....

So.... apa keputusan penurunan berat badan i setakat ni? The verdict: as of Oct 31:


Yey! I love progress.... and it did motivate diri i untuk terus usaha. Dah a few people tegur kata i nampak kurus sikit. Especially tang pipi/muka. Hehehehe....lagi la semangat i teruskan usaha i ni. Walaupun may be susah nak capai 4 kilo penurunan dalam masa berbaki 2 bulan ni, I will try harder dan lebih berdisiplin dalam rutin penurunan berat badan i ni. Please pray for me ya :-) And for others yg sedang berusaha, good luck to u all.
