Hello!

Masya Allah.... lamanya i x menulis di sini... masih adakah lagi pembaca di blog picisan ni? huhuuhu... Life has been busy. Especially, perihal keje. Balik rumah, uruskan perihal rumah pulak... Masa yg terluang, memang nak rehat jee... Nak blog hopping pun x dan. Thus, my updates banyak di instagram. Sebab senang nak update... hehehhe... But still, I'll be writing here once in a while. Sebab kat sini, boleh menulis dengan lebih panjang dan meluahkan isi hati. Cepat betul masa berlalu. Dah nak masuk Ramadhan dah... sekarang bila nak masuk Ramadhan, I'll be more sentimental. Rasa bersyukur yg amat sangat, because it was in Ramadhan last year when Allah kabulkan doa i. I still rmember my doa. I asked Allah, kalau jalan terbaik untuk memperolehi cahaya mata adalah dari zuriat keturunan kami sendiri, maka permudahkan untuk kami, murahkan rezeki kami supaya dapat kami tampung perbelanjaan usaha kami. Tapi jika jalan memperolehi anak adalah melalui anak angkat, maka lorongkanlah...

Detail Blood Test Result Cholesterol & Glucose in blood

Just for my record... Ni result detail blood test on Gula dalam darah & cholesterol i masa health day hari tu. Actual glucose in blood 4.6 (normal) and Total Cholesterol to HDL ratio of 4.0. Tapi bad cholesterol and my total cholesterol i quite tinggi dr recommended point. So still kena hati2 and keep on jaga makan...

Workout Song

Lately ni, i x leh nak buat senaman 'power walk' lagi. Bila buat, lutut i jadi sakit. Sampai nak gerak pun susah. Kalau buat power walk ni, x perlu la dgr lagu apa2 sbb instructor kat TV tu dah ada kan... I love exercise yang lari2 or brisk walking nih (walaupun dalam umah ja... heheehe). But tu la... sakit lutut pulop (huhuh...terima la hakikat that u are getting old ST!). So now i x leh la nak buat power walk lagi kat rumah. But luckily, i have stationary bike kat rumah. At least i have an alternative la kan... Tapi kan, i x berapa suka sebab bila buat exercise naik stationary bike ni, i rasa lambat sangat masa berlalu n cepat penat. (hahahha...nama pon senam kan, mesti la penat...). Tambah lagi, kita duduk je kan kayuh beskal tu...macam bosan sket... Bila buat workout yg mcm ni, or other work out yang dalam gym la kan, memang agak bosan kalau x de workout song. Even kalo tgk kat TV pun, those runners/ people who workout kat gym mesti akan sumbat telinga memasing ngan ea...

My Weight Loss Journey So Far...

As u know, i started my diet nih January hari tu. So dah 3 bulan setengah la kan i diet ni. Mula mula buat Atkins. Tahan 2 minggu pertama ja. Perut i rasa lapar... Tu belum tambah sakit kepala lagi... On 3rd wk, i cuba low carb and hi fat diet (modified Atkins). Nampak gaya, this kind of diet suits me well. Sepanjang tak makan nasi n makanan bertepung tu, memang banyak la berat turun ... And tak rasa lapar sangat. So i teruskan sampai la bila i dgr my company nak buat competition ala2 biggest looser. So i stop diet jap. Sempat la gain dua kilo balik. ehehhehe... Contest tu started last 2 weeks. Those 2 kilos tu pun dah shed off semula (berat air ja tu...). So the real journey begins now. Matlamat kali nih, nak capai berat masa i bertunang dulu... of which i need to shed off another 5 kilos lebih kurang... Doakan i terus konsisten ya... And semalam, bersempena dengan health day kat company i, the company had invited KPMC buat health check up for staff. Just nice kan... I get to know...

Assalamualaikum & Selamat Sejahtera Readers... Hi all... how r u? Anyone miss me and my writing? Hahahaaha... budget mcm bagus je i nih... Dah sebulan i x tulih apa2 kat blog nih... Been busy ngan keje yg x abih2... tapi keje memang la macam tu kan...kalo keje dah abih, dah x de apa2 nak buat dah, alamatnya memang dah kena buang keje la kot kan...di zaman ekonomi begini, alhamdulillah...masih ada keje and masih boleh bergaji. syukur ala kulli hal... How am i doing? Alhamdulillah...sihat walafiat. You all dear readers pun i harap sihat2 sokmo. Bagaimana dengan usaha penurunan berat badan i so far? Juga alhamdulillah... as of last week, i've loss........ (insert drum roll)....................... Alhamduillah....7.4 kilos gone in 3 months. Another 9.4 kilos to go. Hehehehe... Sepanjang tiga bulan ni, ada gak la turun naiknya semangat nak diet nih. Especially masa bulan 2 hari tu. stress keje punya pasal, so my cheat day dah jadik cheat days! So penurunan berat waktu t...

Pan Cake

First of all, so sorry sebab lately ni entry berkisar psl diet ja... mesti boring u all ngan diet i yg x abih2... heheheh.... Nak buat cemana, am writing on things that is revolve around my life. And for now, it is about diet. hehehehe.... Back to topic today, I luv pan cake. Tapi sejak2 dah x makan makanan bertepung ni, memang x buat la pan cake tu... But semalam, i came across a recipe yg substitute tepung with other ingredients. Resepi ni namanya Cream Cheese Pan Cake. 1 adunan boleh untuk 4 hidangan. Setiap hidangan ada 155 calories. Setiap hidangan mengandungi 0.8g carb, 8.3g protein and 13.5g fat Seriusly, dua ni ja bahan2 basic nya... I guna tatura cream cheese. Tapi bukan semua ya... Resepi ni require 4 ounce Cream cheese (equivalent to 1/2 cup or 113 gram). Campur cream cheese ni dengan 4 biji telur dalam blender and blend sampai smooth. Hasilnya agak cair, tak mcm adunan pan cake biasa. So bila nak masak tu, u kena scoop masuk pan pelan2, supaya pancake tu x la nip...

Cooking Made Easy

Since i start diet ni, memang every morning i akan buat sarapan pagi sendiri. Kalau dulu, boleh ja singgah mana2 beli. La ni, kalo buat camtu, abih la kiraan calories i... Being in low carb diet, kalo x pelbagaikan menu, memang akan cepat boring. Mau tak boring...x kan la hari2 scramble egg or telur rebus kan... so kepelbagaian tu penting supaya kita x boring nak makan, dan tak mudah terkandas sebab boring dgn foof kita. So far, basis for my breakfast (and lunch... i buat skali...kadang sama lauk, kadang lain) mostly telur, tauhu, ayam and kadang2 daging. For dinner plak slalu ikan, ayam and daging. Macam semalam, pagi, i masak  telur goreng on top of tauhu grill (on magic pan), with slice of cheese and sesudu sambal bbq. Total calories less 250kcal. Tambah salad secawan. For lunch, i masak segenggam kacang panjang potong kecik2 ditumis ngan bawang n telur hancur. Serius, i kenyang....may be sbb skang dah amik portion kecil, so i cepat rasa kenyang... Malam, again i guna...

Gula dalam Darah

This week, minggu ke empat on diet. Cemana so far? Ada la jugak sangkut2 nya... last week, I pose, so masa berbuka tu teringin sgt nasi, i mkn la dlm dua sudu. hehehhe... And then my BIL balik dr labuan, bawak coklat marshamellow sumer... huhuu... banyak gak la i telan... Tak pe... minggu ni kita cuba semula. Smalam coti, so dan la buat yoga waktu pagi. Hari ni, kita plan nk exercise gak... jaga makan sume...inshaAllah... But nak share perkembangan positive this week, gula dalam darah dah turun to 5.1 dari 6.3. Yeay! Suka sgt... dah tak borderline dah... so kena kipidap ni ;-) Wish me all the best untuk istiqamah ya.... till then...

Yummly!

I ni jenis yg suka variety in my food. I cepat bosan kalo masak n makan benda yg sama... So i rajin la menggoogle resepi, but often i found out leceh nak browse internet... And leceh nk go through the resepi n get frustrated bila ada bahan yg i x mo ada dlm resepi tu. Last month, i stumble across this application called 'yummly'. And i love it so much! Guna app ni, memang mudah sangat nak cari resepi. I just taip apa yg i nak cari, and walla... Keluar semua resepi. Yummly aps... tergoda tgk ice cream nih... Yang paling i suka this app can be customised to your preference. Contoh, macam i x makan pork, alcohol, prefer western, italian, asian food, healthy food... Semua ni i masukkn dalam setting. So bila i search for any resepi, x dak la bahan2 terlarang dlm resepi tu and result yg keluar akan ikut my preference. Sapa2 ada allergic to food, memang senang la nak cari resepi... I also love its look n feel masa pakai app ni. Senang! Siap bgtau estimated time nk si...

On Diet!

Salah satu new year resolution ri tu ye lah nak turunkan berat badan. Heheheh...ni la azam tetiap tahun. in 2014 dulu, dah turun 6 kilos, tapi in 2015, i gained it back :-P Jadinya, tahun ni 2016, moh ler kita turunkan semula berat tu ya... I choose low carb diet, sbb nak kata i buat atkins, i bukan ikut sgt pantang larang atkins ni... i still makan buah (admittedly x banyak) and my cooking still ada bawang. So, yeah... i'm on low carb diet. Pantang i tiga ja... nasi, mee/meehoon and anything yg basednya tepung. For the past 2 weeks, i melopong ja la tgk org makan kueh2 masa meeting kat opis.... and i was drooling bila tgk org makan nasik ayam la, nasik arab la... huhuhu... menu i.... cekodok tauhu and egg foldover with chicken shred stir fried soft tofu with vegi sotong tumis dgn sayur seafood spaghetti (but i use zucchini instead of pasta. no flour based food remember) egg salad chicken shred salad egg pizza gigih i masak pagi2. Amazi...

Quick Update

hohohoho... 9 hari x berupdate blog nih. BZ sket sbb Board Meeting hari selasa ri tu. Mcm biasa la... banyak persediaan nak kena buat. And towards last minute pon banyak presentation slide changes. Pening ngan board preparation kali ni. But alhamdulillah, walaupon banyak agenda, sekejap ja meeting. from 2 pm ke 5 pm. Agenda ada 13. Kira ok la kan... i dok expect meeting abih pkol 8 malam. hahahahah... pastu board member plak mood bagus2 semua. I have 3 paper, but i cakap x sampai 10 minit in total for all the paper. Gila cepat board approve. Lega... (presentation is not my strong suit. Even dah banyak kali pi board meeting, i still have butterfly in my stomach everytime nak kena present kat board. huhuhuhu). Sebab dah lega settle board ni (err... ada another one in dec, tapi let's not think about that board meeting eh...), smalam masa meeting @ klcc, singgah kino and reward myself with a thriller novel. Meeting abih awai, so i balik awai and read the book. Abih dah eh 1 buku tu...

ST's 73 kcal Apple Pie Sempoi

Dah a few days dah sebenarnya teringin nak try resepi ni. I teringat Apple Pie McD. But since dah lama I x makan McD, so try la buat resepi simple ni. Resepi ni boleh buat 3 serving (considering 1 pie satu serving) You only need: 1 Green Apple 3 helai kulit popiah  1 sudu mentega dicairkan 1 sudu teh serbuk kayu manis (or bleh agak2 menyelaputi apple tu dah cukup) 2 sudu teh gula perang (nak kurangkn lagi pon boleh, agak2 elok menyelaputi apple dah enough) What u need to do: potong apple bentuk dadu. gaulkan apple, cinnamon and gula perang sekata. sapukan mentega cair atas kulit popiah gulung apple dalam kulit popiah sapukan mentega atas kulit popiah yg nak dibakar bakar dlm oven 180 degree celcius selama 15 minit atau hingga keperangan. ready to be baked! And Walla..... Ready to eat :-) Each Apple Pie Popiah ni got 73kcal. So, don't go overboard  ye... Pls take note that if u x wash dgn mentega, or if u kurangkan gula, maka kal...

Hibernasi seketika...

Owh... i sgt bz skang nih. Tgh kena audit ngan internal audit. performance year end review, pastu sambung Board Meetings and audit for statutory plak in dec. Banyak benda nak kena settlekan... Tapi dlm busy2, i cuba beri masa utk exercise. Alhamdulillah, masih calories concious now. Memang pakai Myfitness pal utk bantu kira calories, and synckan dgn MapMyFitness utk kira calories burn from exercise. So far, ada peningkatan dari segi ukur lilit :-) turun la sikit inci. In terms of berat, masih jauh lagi... Pagi tadi, test sugar in blood (in fasting mode). pre diabetis?? Still long way to go.... Pls pray for me...semoga berterusan usaha ni :-) Till then... p/s: maaf dipinta kalau update di blog ni x seperti selalu... I cuba cari masa utk pos anything if any... Otherwise, i may go on hibernasi seketika...

Start Semula

Reality sucks! And because of that I have to re-start again. Complacency has taken over my life, causing me gaining back all the weigh that i'd lossed before. Yeah...sucks... Let's start clean eating. Konon smalam nak start, tapik ada free breakfast n lunch. But still try to kurangkan carb and watch my portion. Harap2 hari ni x ke laut.... heheheh... Menu pagi ni... Roti sandwhich telur (around 300kcal) Snacks pagi n petang ni. I have balance of 700kcal to fulfill my lunch n dinner... apa nk makan nanti ya... exercise part, kelmarin buat simple yoga 30 mins and smalam i rode on my stationary bike for 20 mins. Ok la kan utk peringkat awal2 ni... hari ni plan nak yoga lagi :-) Doakan i x terbabas hari ni ;-P

Ramadhan - Day 1

Malam Ramadhan yg pertama, I can't sleep a wink! Ada la melayang-layang kejap dlm setengah jam, pastu cerah mata x leh tido sampai la subuh. Lepas subuh tu baru terasa berat kepala and nak lelap. So i pon tido la kejap. Konon nak bangun balik dlm pkol 7.20 pg mcm tu, nk siap2 pi keje. Alarm bunyi, sambung tido balik sebab kepala berat sgt and rasa melayang layang. So amik EL la smalam. First day puasa, alhamdulillah. Sahur pagi smalam pun, i cuma makan kurma n minum air. Hubby keje malam, so malas i nak beriya masak sahur. Sahur pagi tadi, macam biasa, perangat lauk berbuka semalam. Menu Day 1 Ramadhan: Roti Nan, Ayam Tandoori, Mint chutney, Kari daging, Salad epal hijau and carrot cake slices for dessert. Masak untuk berbuka petang smalam kemain penat rasanya. Sbb lama berdiri kat dapur, menunggu daging empuk (pressure cooker ada, tapi maleh nk kluarkn dari kotak... keskeskes, tahap teruk pemalas nih!). MDH ingat i buat carrot cake tu, siap puji sedap lagi. Memang la seda...

not so good week... huhuhu

Ahahah... last week baru je kata 'good week'. minggu ni dah x good dah. Monday, i banyak keje, balik lewat. Tuesday, my MIL nak datang umah, so kemas2 umah yg berabuk tu...(hehehhe...nampak nau pemalasnye i ni...MIL datang baru nk berkemas). Rabu, i was down with flu. Ni jangkit ngan MDH la ni... dah pesan kt dia pi klinik ri tu masa awal2 dia kena, dia x pi...last2, jangkit kat i pulop... tapi ok gak, dapat MC sehari, rest betui2 kat umah... heheheh... Kamis, balik lewat, and still selsema. Ri ni pun sama... So konklusi minggu ni x senam pun... tapi alhamdulillah, i still masih boleh jaga makan. Macam heran gak...selalunya kalo meeting2 yg ada makanan, i slalu kalah. kompem i makan kuih2 masa meeting tu. Tapi lately ni ok la... bleh tahan napsu nak makan tu... mungkin memang mujarab supplement yg i ambik tu kot... imagine ya... secret recipe cheese cake dihidangkan masa pre-board meeting last tuesday. Boleh i makan sesudu je tau. the rest i bawak balik, simpan dalam peti...

Minggu yang agak baik

Last week was a kind of good week. Sebab? i didn't miss my exercise. Alhamdulillah, lima hari berturut turut i buat senaman (not good sebenarnya...u need to rest your muscle. tapi sebab x la senam teruk2 sangat, so buat la jugak hari2...). Cycling (indoor) around 35 minutes. Walaupun x la hebat mana, but it's good la kan, dari x buat langsung. Berpeluh-peluh la jugak... Sabtu dan Ahad, hari rest n also Cheating day (s). As much as possible, i try juga control napsu makan (huhuhu...agak kureng berjaya, tapi boleh la tahan...). Malam ni, to reward myself, buat pizza cheesy. I guna baki doh roti yg x jadi ari tu. I kluarkan dari freezer, de-frost, buat bentuk pizza and letak bahan pizza. Bahan pizza simple je... sos spaghetti kimball as pizza base, sausage ayam and cheese. A lot of cheese... hehehhe... Oh, since me n MDH suka pedas2 sket (tekak melayu la katakan....) i tambah sambal bilis as my pizza base. For a dough yg beratnya 200g, i bakar kat oven dengan suhu 250 degree...

After Hibernation

Siapa yg berhibernasi tu? I ler... dalam konteks bersenam. Its been a while since i betul2 bersenam. Sebelum ni memang banyak skip... bukan rope skipping, tapi i yg skip bersenam. Tapi dah tua2 ni, menjaga makan je dah x cukup dah... or may be sebab i dah x kira betul2 calories intake i (main agak2 je...), so most of the time rasa makan sikit dah... tapi banyak jugak rupanya... sebab my weight keep on increasing. Sabit pulak dengan tahun baru, maka haruslah azam yg setiap tahun ditanam tu (read: nak turun berat badan) mula dijaga tumbuhnya. Since last 2 weeks, i dah start semula aktiviti bersenam. tu pon memang payah nak start mula2 tu... I can feel my fitness dah jatuh merudum. Baru buat power walk 2 miles, dah pancit (power walk tu...bukan lari...x berani lagi nak start gillian punya senaman...hehehhe). But last week, bad news...kasut sukan yg i slalu pakai masa bersenam dah tercabut tapaknya... dua2 belah plak tu... sempat habis sampai 2 miles je power walk i... Seb baik a...

2 litres in 8 hours

i ni memang susah nak pastikan abis 2 liter air... may be pada org lain, sikit je 2 litre tu...tapi i memang payah la... Bila keje, memang kadang tu x ingat nk minum air. tak terasa tekak kering. But now, InshaAllah no more... Org kata, bila tak letak depan mata, memang x buat.... so.... dah besor gini x nampak jugak x tau la.... I beli bekas air tapewer yg 2 litre terus. So every morning, i ambik air kat pantry and letak kat my desktop. Every now and then, i minum sambil buat keje. Minum seteguk dua (idok la abiskan secawan terus....). Usually i'll try to finish half of it before lunch. And another half after lunch. By doing this, i can ensure that i drink at least 2 litres per day. Memula dulu, i bawak botol air biasa je. around 500ml. tapi x larat kot nak gi mari gi mari pantry tu amik air...so, i beli la bekas air ni...senang...sekali ambik and senang nak track progress. Kalo meeting kt dalam kawasan opis pon, i boleh hangkut bekas air ni bawak masuk meeting. hehehe...

New Scale - New beginning?

Sorry u all...i'm a bit busy lately. Ni sempat jengah kejp jer... Last week, pi ikut MDH gi Cosway. MDH dok cari barang dia, i dok usha2 barang dalam kedai tu...Sekali ternampak la scale yg i cari2... huhuhuhu... Apa lagi... kenyit2 mata sket ngan MDH, buat muka comel2 sikit (kikikiki..perasan!) dapat la rembat scale tu... hehehehe.... terima kasih bebanyak kat En Somi ku yg terchenta kerana men'support' pembelian ini... hehehehhe ;-) Ni le Scale tu.... Apa yg best sangat scale nih? Sebab.... Yer... sebab ada body analysis! Scale ni bleh measure body fat, water, muscle mass, bone density and calories kita masa timbang tu... Ha... mana i tak excited nak dapat kan scale nih... Now i bleh tau apa progress and changes in my body, walaupon weight i x bergerak.... yeay! Scale ni jenama Health Club. Ada warranty card setahun. Mahal ke tak? Masa mula2 tu x tau harga, i ingat ratus-ratus la... rupanya RM 90. OK la tu kot... On my diet plak, hari smalam restart bali...
